BioBridge Global Introduces BBG Advanced Therapies: New Subsidiary to Support the Development of Cell and Gene Therapies

Biomedical entrepreneurs, investors tour BioBridge Global for BioFest Invest

More than 20 startups and investment groups toured BioBridge Global on April 18 to learn how the organization supports the development of advanced therapies.

From blood products and donated tissue to testing to biomanufacturing, the group heard from leadership about the labs that provide a variety of services to local and global customers. The tours also highlighted the importance of the organization’s mission to save and enhance lives.

The tour happened a day before BioFest Invest, a conference that brings investment advice and funding to strengthen innovation in San Antonio’s life science sector.

Throughout the day, the group also visited organizations and an incubator that make San Antonio a bioscience hub, including Southwest Research Institute, Texas Biomedical Research Institute, VelocityTX and Nvision Biomedical Technologies.

BioBridge Global sponsored and presented at the 2023 BioFest Invest by BioMedSA on a panel on attracting investors via an organization’s management team.
