This card is part of a set by 5-year-old cancer survivor Amy Morkovsky, a testament to her bravery and resilience. Amy was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 2. With her family by her side during numerous treatments and blood transfusions, Amy found her love for art. Three years later, Amy has grown into a beautiful and lively little 5-year-old who was able to “ring the bell” announcing she is cancer-free.
Patients with blood cancer or a blood disorder like Valentina often need more than one kind of donation. As a baby, she required blood transfusions and a cord blood transplant while she was battling her condition. Because of generous donors like you, she is now happy and healthy.
