Cord Blood Services

The Texas Cord Blood Bank was established in 2005 to support collection and banking of Cord Blood Units for transplant.

Our collection programs are governed by Institutional Review Boards associated with our partnering hospitals.

The Texas Cord Blood Bank supports the utilization of fresh or frozen cord blood units for the development of innovative therapies to save and enhance lives.

Cord Blood Lab Services

Our facility houses an onsite AABB accredited laboratory offering a range of services including:

  • Cell enumeration and characterization (CD45, CD34, 7AAD)
  • Mononuclear cell isolation
  • Storage (Cryopreservation)

For Researchers

We work hand in hand with our customers to ensure we deliver cord blood units that meet their specifications for research.

  • Fresh or frozen Cord Blood Units
  • Unit selection based on Total Nucleated Cell count
  • Unit selection by weight or volume
  • Unit selection based on Red Blood Cell count
