The third annual San Antonio event on Oct. 10 will feature classic cars, food, family activities and opportunities to donate blood and platelets.
SAN ANTONIO — The Dominion Rotary Club will host its third annual car show at the South Texas Blood & Tissue Donor Pavilion on Saturday, Oct. 10. The family-friendly event will feature up to 150 show vehicles, music, food vendors, awards and opportunities for attendees to donate blood and platelets.
The event brings car enthusiasts and community members together while offering an opportunity to support patients in South Texas through blood and platelet donations.
“We’re really looking forward to having people come out, enjoy the car show and spend some time with us at the Donor Pavilion. And if being here inspires someone to roll up their sleeve and donate, even better,” said George Brumfield, Donor Diversity Program Manager with South Texas Blood & Tissue. “That one decision can make a real difference for patients and families across South Texas.”
The South Texas Blood & Tissue Donor Pavilion will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for blood and platelet donations. Donors will be eligible for regular donor incentives, including Donor Rewards points that can be redeemed for merchandise and other gifts.
Car enthusiasts interested in displaying their vehicles can register for $25 in advance or $30 on the day of the event. Vendor and food truck registration is $50, payable by cash, check or card.
Car show schedule:
8-9 a.m. – Show vehicle setup
9-11 a.m. – Vehicle registration
11 a.m.-1 p.m. – Show car judging
1-2 p.m. – Awards and trophy presentation
2 p.m. – Event ends; teardown and cleanup
