We are a full-service, AATB accredited tissue bank focused on tissue recovery. Recoveries are led by Certified Tissue Banking Specialists, and primarily performed in our dedicated recovery suite at the Center for Life, in collaboration with University Health System, Texas Organ Sharing Alliance, and San Antonio Eye Bank.
We work with local partners to promote organ, tissue, and eye donation within the community, and also providing support to donor families.

Our trained surgical staff can recover all common transplantable tissue types including musculoskeletal, skin, cardiac and vascular tissues. Additionally, we can recover other specific tissue types for clinical and non-clinical use.
