As a Director of the Board of The Blood & Tissue Center Foundation, I am fully committed and dedicated to its mission and have pledged to carry out this mission. To that end, I understand that my duties and responsibilities require me to:

1. Know and effectively articulate the mission*, vision, purpose, goals and programs of The Blood & Tissue Center Foundation and serve as an advocate for the organization within my circles of influence - personal, business, faith, civic, etc.

2. Attend quarterly and special board meetings and actively participate in the proceedings. Attend and support organization events and fundraisers.

3. Serve on at least one committee. Attend and actively participate in regular committee meetings.

4. Generously support The Blood & Tissue Center Foundation according to my own means, with the understanding that a minimum contribution of $250 per year will be required to fulfill grant requirements of 100 percent Board financial participation. I further understand that my support of The Foundation can be made by making in-kind gifts or financial contributions, with examples being Founders’ Circle, Champions fore Charity, Red and White Ball Underwriting, Ticket or Table purchases, silent auction/raffle item donations, Memorials, Honorariums, or a general donation.

5. Actively engage in fundraising for this organization in whatever ways are best suited for me which may include individual solicitation, supporting special events, writing mail/email appeals, and the like and to share my resources and talents including expertise, contacts for financial support, and contacts for in-kind contributions.

6. Maintain the confidentiality of the private information of the organization, staff, clients, and other board Directors.
