The relocated Southeast Donor Center officially opened its doors to the community on Jan. 14.  Our new facility has the capacity to receive and schedule up to 62 donors and appointments a day.

South Texas Blood & Tissue is excited to unveil its updated and relocated new donor center on San Antonio’s southside. This new location will help garner donor visibility and highlight the cultural richness of our community.

In commemoration of National Blood Donor Month, from Jan. 6-10 local landmarks including the Alamo Quarry Market smokestacks, North Star Mall Cowboy Boots, the Tower of the Americas and The Tobin Center are turning their lights red to bring awareness to the cause.

Donor families created ornaments of their loved ones, which were placed on a beautifully lit Christmas tree in Donor Pavilion, called the Giving Tree.  

Blood donors can take part in the Double Your Impact campaign by giving their Reward Store points to the San Antonio Food Bank until Dec. 31.
