Elizabeth Waltman

Elizabeth Waltman joined the organization in January, 2013. Waltman manages all areas of blood operations, including the departments of donor services, donor recruitment, product management, component laboratory, hospital services and operations integration, as well as the Victoria facility.

With over 17 years of experience in executive management, Waltman has previously held positions in recruitment, quality assurance, corporate communications and project management. Most recently, she has worked in management roles with Blood Systems, Inc. and was previously with Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. She began her career in the health care industry as a nurse in labor and delivery.

Waltman has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts from University of St. Thomas. She is the South Central Association of Blood Banks (SCABB) Foundation Treasurer and is an active member in the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Blood Bank Society as well as other professional health care organizations.
