On Wednesday, May 3rd Mila and Faisal Khan once again graciously opened their beautiful home to host the Red & White Ball kickoff. The event was well attended and included a performance by Musical Bridges and exciting updates on this year’s cause and plans.

What a year, as we celebrate 20 years’ service to South Texas!
In a retrospective of 20 years of fundraising, The Foundation board – including Shannon Windrow – heard about major projects the organization has supported at South Texas Blood & Tissue and BioBridge Global.

South Texas Blood & Tissue is part of a national study to help improve healthcare for all Americans and soon will begin adding study participants from the area.
Last week, Adriana and I participated in the Association of Fundraising Professionals annual international conference. It was packed with information on the state of fundraising across the U.S. and globally.
