What a year, as we celebrate 20 years’ service to South Texas!
In a retrospective of 20 years of fundraising, The Foundation board – including Shannon Windrow – heard about major projects the organization has supported at South Texas Blood & Tissue and BioBridge Global.
In anticipation of this year’s Labor Day weekend, South Texas Blood & Tissue partnered with WOAI/KABB to promote the annual Give to Live blood drive. The Blood & Tissue Center Foundation, thanks to the generosity of MOD Pizza and a Bank of America grant.
The 24-hour fundraising event will run from 6 p.m. September 22 to 6 p.m. September 23.
The one-month countdown has begun to this year’s Red & White Ball, The Heart of the Matter.
South Texas Blood & Tissue is part of a national study to help improve healthcare for all Americans and soon will begin adding study participants from the area.
Last week, Adriana and I participated in the Association of Fundraising Professionals annual international conference. It was packed with information on the state of fundraising across the U.S. and globally.
