South Texas Blood & Tissue’s Concert Series gives blood donors the chance to win tickets to two legendary rock concerts while helping replenish the critical summer blood supply.
SAN ANTONIO — South Texas Blood & Tissue is giving blood donors one last chance to rock out while making a lifesaving difference. Through Aug. 9, donors who give blood at any donor center can enter to win tickets to see Guns N’ Roses or Iron Maiden as part of the 2026 Concert Series.

- Donors can give at any donor center until Aug. 9 for a chance at tickets.
- When scheduling, donors should use promo code “IRON” for Iron Maiden and “ROSES” for Guns N’ Roses.
- There is an urgent need for type O blood, as there is a summertime shortage for patients in South Texas.

Summer Blood Donations Are Critically Needed
South Texas Blood & Tissue Concert Series was launched to encourage new donors to give blood. During the summer, it is difficult to keep a healthy blood supply, as donations drop during seasonal traveling, and extreme weather.

- Donated blood is essential to healthcare systems everywhere, supporting patients during emergencies, childbirth, surgeries, cancer treatment, and other serious conditions.
