Celebrating the next chapter of the Mobile Leukapheresis Center
SAN ANTONIO — The Blood & Tissue Center Foundation invites the community to the official deployment of the BBG Advanced Therapies Mobile Leukapheresis Center following its Care to Cures luncheon on Friday, Sept. 18.
The Mobile Leukapheresis Center is the first of its kind, bringing more advanced therapies options to patients. It takes specific cell-collection capabilities out of fixed clinical settings and brings it directly to the community.
BBG Advanced Therapies is revolutionizing the industry and the concept for the Mobile Leukapheresis Center was born out of a 50-plus-year history of community mobile blood drives that have been a standard for South Texas Blood & Tissue. It is another way to broaden our lifesaving therapies to the community.
The Care to Cures event will feature an introduction by BioBridge Global CEO Martin Landon, followed by a panel discussion led by Emmanuel Casasola, Vice President of Lab Operations, exploring the future of immunotherapies.
