South Texas Blood & Tissue aims to collect 250 blood donations during five community blood drives honoring America’s 250th birthday.
SAN ANTONIO – As our nation marks its 250th anniversary, South Texas Blood & Tissue invites the community to celebrate through service by donating blood at one of five community blood drives across San Antonio.
This year’s observance also coincides with the anniversary of the 2025 Hill Country flooding. As we remember the lost lives and recognize the families and communities still recovering, these blood drives offer a meaningful way to honor that spirit of resilience, compassion and neighbor helping neighbor.
The goal is to collect 250 blood donations in recognition of America’s 250th anniversary. Every donation has the potential to help save lives and strengthen the blood supply for patients across South Texas.
Thank-You Gifts for Blood Donors
All donors will receive a $10 Rudy’s BBQ coupon and an exclusive 250th anniversary commemorative T-shirt while supplies last. Donors will also be entered to win one of five $250 Visa gift cards.
