Donate at the March Spurs blood drives for a chance to win suite tickets
SAN ANTONIO – Blood donors who give at selected community blood drives in March will be entered into a drawing to win a pair of suite tickets to the March 19 Spurs game against the Indiana Pacers.
As an added thank-you, all donors will receive a Spurs T-shirt, a $10 Rudy’s BBQ voucher and a weekender bag.
Spring break often brings a decline in blood donations as schools are out on break and many families travel. The need for blood does not take a break, and patients like 11-year-old Lyric rely on the generosity of blood donors. She requires regular transfusions as she battles sickle cell disease.
These Spurs blood drives are designed to encourage the community to donate and help maintain the local blood supply during a time when donations typically decline.
